Panasonic System Solutions Europe introduces the new benchmark in EPOS workstations, the Stingray. The revolutionary new Stingray is set to transform the EPOS market thanks to its flexible open architecture and versatile modular construction.

The Stingray innovative approach derives from the simple concept of providing users exactly what they need. Its open platform means the Stingray will evolve as business needs change allowing both software and hardware upgrades at any stage in its lifetime, significantly lowering the total cost of ownership.

The open architecture of the Stingray means it will run virtually any operating system of the customer’s choice from basic off-the-shelf options to custom POS applications. Software and can be configured with the selection of components and capabilities that best meet users’ specific needs. Making the Stingray even more flexible for future changes or maintenance, it features user replaceable components such as the LCD display and hard drive whilst also allowing for RAM to be easily increased.

Stingray‘s 15” or 12” dual back lit LCD adjustable displays deliver high-resolution, high-contrast images and are available with resistive or capacitive touch screen technology for fast and accurate order taking. Stingray’s 15” display can also be easily swivelled for portrait or landscape orientation depending on the application software.

Additionally, Stingray can be configured with ID-Devices that can be mounted in two different positions, supporting 3 tracks of information which allow acceptance of credit, debit, gift, loyalty, and staff cards. Users can also easily integrate. ID Devices include Magnetic Card, Dallas key and Fingerprint.
